We sincerely apologise to our customers for any inconvenience that may be caused by production adjustments due to a shortage of certain parts.

Currently the industry is facing several problems. The continued increase in demand of semi-conductors in the world and the growing concern of the Covid-19 situation in south-east Asia, which is having a direct impact on manpower at our suppliers. These problems are affecting several industrial sectors but more so in the automobile sector.

Due to this, Toyota had to review its production plans for the months of September and October 2021 in several of its plants within Japan and Europe.

As a consequence, we must inform those of our customers who have already placed an order that, depending on the type of vehicle, it may not be delivered in time for the originally scheduled delivery date. In addition, for customers who are currently considering purchasing a vehicle, it may take more time than usual to deliver the vehicle.

As the demand for semiconductors in all industries continues to increase, we are continuously assessing the situation and discussing medium to long-term countermeasures with related companies. Our focus remains on doing everything we can to deliver as many cars as possible to our customers as quickly as possible, such as shifting our production plans to models with high demand.

We would like to express our gratitude to all those considering or ordering our products, and we deeply apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers due to the delay in production of the vehicles.
